CROSS SLIDES

AP Automation cross slides are precise vertical and horizontal torch-positioning devices. The slides incorporate ball bearing vee wheels that ride on hardened steel rails mounted on an aluminum base structure. Totally enclosed DC gear motors drive the covered freewheeling ball screws , eliminating the need for an end-of-travel limit switch.

The three AP Automation cross slide models provide different weight-carrying capacities. Cross slide assemblies are available in standard stroke lengths: 3 and 6 in. for ST40 models, 5 and 10 in. for ST250 and ST450 models. Longer stroke lengths may be ordered in 5-in. increments?€”up to 60 in!
